 Curriculum development on
Sustainability for Children.

The context: Climate change will be a critical issue tomorrow. Being rapidly adaptive to skill requirements might help one survive in the future, but from the lens of the planet as a whole, it is important that every individual empathises with other humans, other life forms and nature. taking into account the impact of one’s own action on others. Awareness of, relatability towards and ownership of one’s own natural and cultural heritage and diversity, is key to dignity of self, empathy to others, and thereby, conservation.

"Concerted curricular and pedagogical initiatives, including the introduction of contemporary subjects such as Artificial Intelligence, Design Thinking, Holistic Health, Organic Living,

Environmental Education, Global Citizenship Education (GCED), etc.

at relevant stages will be undertaken to develop these various important skills in students at all levels."
